The preseason is taking shape, with several matches already confirmed, the starting signal for the preparation matches will be on Friday, July 19 at 7 p.m. during the team's preparation stage at the Oliva Nova Sports Center. Coventry City FC plays in the English Football League Championship, the second highest competition in England, in which last season they finished ninth.
